The Player Development Framework gives you a session for every stage of a player's development. The one thing it cannot do is stand next to you on a Sunday and answer your questions. So every week for 18 weeks, I will. I walk you through that week's session, what to coach, what to look for, and how to flex it for the players and kit you actually have, before you run it.
Most youth coaching now runs on disconnected training plans. You download a session, tweak a few drills, and hope it fits your players. But nothing connects one week to the next, and you have no real way of knowing if the players are actually learning. Learning is not automatic. It is a battle against forgetting, and random drills do not win that battle.
The Player Development Framework is the 360TFT coaching system I have built over 15 years, from grassroots to professional. It replaces guesswork with clarity: what to teach, when to teach it, and how to make it stick. Clearly defined stages set out exactly what a player should be able to do, technically and tactically, at each phase, so you build confidence and competence together and never expose a weakness without giving the player the tools to fix it.
The full framework spans five stages of a player's development, from Master the Ball through to Master the Performance. This cohort runs the three core youth stages, Master the Ball (1 to 11), Master the Opponent (7 to 12), and Master the Game (12 to 18), delivered as progressive 16-week blocks that link training to real match performance. The framework tells you what to coach and when. This cohort is where I help you actually deliver it, week by week.
The five stages of the 360TFT Player Development Framework. This cohort covers the first three.
The most common thing I hear about the Player Development Framework is that the sessions are excellent, but it is hard to get help when you actually need it. You are prepping on a Thursday, numbers are down, you are not sure how a drill will land, and there is nobody to ask. This cohort closes that gap.
Every Sunday I take that week's session apart on a live call. By the time you are on the grass, you have already seen how it should run and heard the why behind it.
Six players instead of twelve, no cones, a wet pitch. You learn how to flex each session before Tuesday, so you adapt on purpose instead of improvising in a panic.
Post your question before the call and I answer it live, grouped with the coaches stuck on the same thing. Every call is recorded, so nothing is lost if you miss one.
No theory dump. Each call is built around the session you are about to coach. Here is the shape of a single week.
Every Sunday, 6:00 to 7:50pm UK (1pm US Eastern, 10am US Pacific). One seat gets you all three calls, so come to whichever fit your teams. Each stage is 15 minutes walking through the session, then 15 minutes of your questions. Every call is recorded and in your classroom within 24 hours.
The foundation phase. Comfort and mastery of the ball before anything else.
Playing against someone. Beating a defender, keeping the ball under pressure, making decisions.
The full game. Roles, units, game understanding, and preparing players for senior football.
Week 1 is your onboarding and orientation. Weeks 2 to 17 work through the full 16-week curriculum, one week at a time, in order. Week 18 is the wrap-up. The cohort starts Sunday 7 June 2026 and finishes Sunday 4 October 2026.
The live calls are the spine. These make sure you never lose a session, and never get stuck in silence.
Miss a Sunday, or want to revisit week 4 when you reach it on the grass? Every call lands in your Coaching Academy classroom within 24 hours. The library is yours for as long as you are a member.
Post your question in the cohort thread before each call and I answer it on the Sunday, grouped with the coaches stuck on the same thing. The more the cohort asks, the richer the recordings become.
You have the sessions, but you want someone to walk you through them before you stand in front of the kids on a wet Tuesday night.
You work across age stages and want a consistent development picture from the youngest through to the 18s, explained by someone coaching at that level right now.
One seat gets you all three calls. Dip into Master the Ball one week and Master the Game the next, whatever your actual week looks like.
You started, life got busy, and it drifted. A live Sunday rhythm and a room of other coaches is what carries you all the way to week 18.
Not someday. The session you coach that week is the session we worked through together on the Sunday.
You have seen the session run and heard the why. No more winging it on the touchline.
Wrong numbers, missing kit, wet pitch. You already have the flexed version ready to go.
You know what to look for and the question to ask, not just the drill to set up.
Your specific problem, answered live on the call, not left sitting in a comment thread.
Eighteen weeks of recordings you keep, to revisit any session, any age stage, any time.

I built the Player Development Framework out of 15 years coaching across grassroots, academy and senior football in Scotland. I am currently assistant manager at Hamilton Academical Women, who won SWPL 2 in 2024/25.
This cohort is the framework with me added back in. Every session we work through is one I have coached or am coaching right now. You get the reasoning, the adaptations, and the honest version of what works and what does not.
