Deception and Misdirection
Develop the ability to use disguise to deceive opponents - making them think you’re going one way when you’re going another. This applies to passing, dribbling, and shooting.
Why This Topic Matters
The best players don’t just execute skills, they sell them. Disguise creates uncertainty in defenders, buying time and space. At this age, players begin to understand that football is as much about what the opponent thinks as what they actually do.
