Jamie Birch🔥 • Jul 23Hi Kris, block training is well established. What it doesn’t allow for though is “letting them forget” and returning to the subject again as a learning style. Have you checked out the game model in the classroom? Kevin lays out some age specific development in there and builds in the learning over time0Reply

I have attached a resource that I have used in the past that helps to understand it.(Not my resource and sharing for educational purposed)Tactical+Periodization+Jose+Guilherme+Oliveira.pdfPDF • 5mb3Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • Jul 25There’s a sweet spot of difficulty that keeps people engaged for sure. It can’t be too easy as the intensity isn’t there and it can’t be too difficult as players will get frustrated and switch off. Going off topic isn’t always a bad thing. @Kevin Middleton talks about a spiral learning approach where topics are layered in, essentially allowing players to forget and returning to the topic to reenforce the learning later.0Reply

It is learning gold dust. “Game Model/Block Training/Curriculum Framework/etc. all achieve the same thing in my opinion.2Reply
