Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • 8dHi Trevor, we covered this very topic in the VIP Tactical Masterclass last week. I went over spaces and lines of pressure that you need to dominate when playing out. .I should know this, but can you please remind me of the formation are you using? Also, what does your shape look like in build.up.P.s. keep going with switching the ball as that will be a very powerful weapon for you once the players get it as you have good wide players3Reply

Trevor Charlie • 7d@Kevin Middleton The VIP! sounds great. Out of my reach atm! I’ll take the light version if you have one - we play 4-3-3. In build up from a goal kick for example I want a 1-4-1-4-1. CF/ST stays up. LF and RF tuck in and teh CDM drops into the space in front of the back 4.1Reply

Trevor Charlie • 6d@Kevin Middleton Thanks - the passout game looked best for the build out in full practice and we used it a few times in preseason. We haven’t revisited the playing out from the back and CB passing yet. Namely because I haven’t had 2 first choice CB’s and RB’s fit for about 5 weeks.2Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • 6d@Trevor Charlie I really like the Passout Game.At your age group, I would be modifying it though:(Using the diagram as a reference)
- One team (Yellow) plays out from the GK to the neutrals (Black) on the halfway line
- They get a point for doing this
- The other team (Blue) presses and attacks the goal. Each goal is worth 2 points (as it is harder to score than play out)
- When yellow plays to the neutral, the neutral joins in with Blue to attack the goal. This makes the game transitional
