Brian Willis • 8dGreat question. The last two are close for me, but the bad attitude, doesn’t try but talented is always a problem. I will always take someone who has a great attitude and tries hard, regardless of talent.2Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • 8d@Brian Willis attitude is the worst as it takes no skill to improve. I’ve played in some teams where terrible attitudes were ignored because they scored 40 goals a season. Tough balance to find.Have you personally had any of these experiences?1Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • 8dThe talented kids with a bad attitude are the absolute worst. So difficult to deal with. Give me a kid that tries hard every day.Pushy parents are annoying, but you can deal with them and explain your decision making as to why they aren’t getting many minutes.2Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • 8d@Ross Whitehead absolutely 👍🏻With the bad attitude, if you had a player that was guaranteed 30+ goals a season. Would you tolerate it?1Reply

Steve Miles • 8d3 for me, but if I am doing my job right - particularly in the foundation stage, minutes should not be an issue - I tend to be open and honest with parents and if they feel that they would get more time elsewhere then they absolutely should do what they think is best for their kid - I will always advocate for playing with their friends though3Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • 8d@Steve Miles I find that open communication with parents is always the best way. Mainly because the politics around youth football are crazy!3Reply
