Jamie Birch🔥 • Sep 29@Kevin Middleton there’s no right answer here, just interesting to see everyone’s opinion. The beauty of football is you’ll have one coach against another and they’ll both have very different ideas about the game and how they want their teams to play.1Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • Sep 29Technical ability for me. The ball moves quicker than any player. Being able to pass or dribble yourself out of any situation is the dream!2Reply

Steve Miles • Sep 30Like Ross, it’s Technical Skill for me - if you can control the ball quicker, you can move it quicker, and negate things like speed and Strength. Honestly I try and build my teams around this already - lots of ball mastery and SSG’s to improve and develop Technical Skills2Reply

Sean Ancheta • Oct 12I would go for experience. When I think of experience I’m thinking about games played and watching football games. You can practice technique all day but if you don’t play much how are you to get better? Like @Steve Miles said above, doing SSG’s and kids just going and playing football in the park with their friends is going to give them the experience they need to apply the technical skills they have practiced. Practice sessions involving rondos and SSG’s provide the opportunity and repetition needed for kids technical skills to improve within the context of a football game.2Reply
