Brian Willis • 15d@Kevin Middleton I probably mentioned this elsewhere l, but I used to get so annoyed with mini-goals because of the stupid shots the kids try blasting into them. Reversing them is a game changer and I got that from the game model materials.2Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • 15d@Brian Willis Another idea is to tip them over so that are face down and the target for finishing becomes smaller so the players need to pass the ball into the goals.Hope that made sense!2Reply

Ryan Byng • 15dMini goals are a must for me. Although the pain of watching kids run into and trip over cones means flat discs are great. I underestimated how much chaos a cone could cause 😂3Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • 15d@Ryan Byng 😂 agree flat cones are a game changer but if I could only pick one it’s the mini goals. The flat goals are great for when you break the pitch into sections so the ball can roll cleanly as well.1Reply

Brian Willis • 15d@Jamie Birch the jealousy other coaches have over your flat cones helps keep you warm when training on a cold night. 🤣1Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • 15dI went for flat cones. If we didn’t have any we would be stuck, we use them in almost all our drills. Our use of mini-goals is intermittent (probably because the mini-goals we have a really cheap) but I can totally see why everyone is voting for them.I’d love a rebounder to try a few things with too.We have poles, hurdles, hoops, an agility ladder and passing hoops but we don’t use them.2Reply

Steve Miles • 15d@Ross Whitehead Genuine question - What could you do with a rebounder that you cannot do with a player?2Reply

Steve Miles • 15dGoals. Any size - but ideally those used at the level I am coaching for. That’s the point of football, and to have a session without them is really frustrating - particularly for the players3Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • 15d@Steve Miles I agree with this 100%. Where we train, there are 7-aside and 11-aside goals, but no 9-aside. As Steve says - the players get frustrated, as we use the 7s nets and they are too small.2Reply
