Tommy Farrell • Jul 9This seems like a great practice. A few clarifying questions, as I am just getting into coaching. 1. When you say the team outside (black) have a max of 2 touches, do you mean the team in possession inside the box can use them as extra players? 2.1 Can an outside person pass to another outside person or does it always have to go back in the square from them? 2.2 Can a black pass to a red player? 3. Do you always have to shoot after receiving a pass from a red player or is it that when you shoot, having received a pass from a red, it has to be first time? Thanks in advance.2Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Jul 9@Tommy Farrell Hi Tommy:
- The team on the outside can be used by the possession team, as can the Reds either side of the posts
- I would avoid outside to outside passes, even Red to Black. I would always recommend that if the ball is on the outside then it comes inside, and if it is inside, it goes outside. Passing sequences like this are harder to defend.
- You can receive from a Red and pass, but if you want to shoot after receiving from a red, it has to be first time (it is mimicking a cutback finish in a game)

Tommy Farrell • Jul 9@Kevin Middleton thank you. So the goal would be for the team in possession in the middle always pass out and out to pass on?0Reply
