Jamie Birch🔥 • Oct 1Zola made me fall in love with football. I even started supporting Chelsea while living in Nottingham!Could beat any player 1v1 and lived in the pocket.I should imagine most peoples will be players that we’re good dribblers and good in 1v1 situations, not something you see as much in the modern game! It’ll be interesting to see the type of player for this generation.3Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • Oct 1”Super” Ally McCoist - a real goal poacher (and back in the days when the SPL wasn’t the laughing stock that it is now). He fought back from a poor start at Ibrox, and when Souness tried to replace him he just knuckled down and fought his way back into the team. Probably one of the nicest people in football too.3Reply

There are a few that I’ve been spellbound when watching but Barnes was the one I remember wanting to play like and try and be like (never got even close to hair on his head lol) Mid 90’s when his pace slowed and moved into midfield I thought he was majestic in the way he could dictate play and bring others into the game. Didn’t need pace to beat a man and find a defence splitting pass. Awesome to watch.3Reply

Justin Shiltz • Oct 1Roy Keane… not because he scored a lot of these but because of his destroyer mentality patrolling the midfield & his take no prisoners leadership qualities. Love me some RK16! ⚫️🔴2Reply

Christian Garcia • Oct 1Growing up I had two fav players one was Rafa Marquez Mexican Center back would watch his games with Barca and his highlights on YouTube back in the day and also, David Beckham 😂🙌🏻 I would try and copy his free kicks. I would spend hours just watching them and try and copy the way they would move or certain techniques they would use3Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • Oct 1@Christian Garcia Marquez was great for Barca, in a tough team to get in the 11! Beckham is an icon, one of the hardest workers on a football pitch which he doesn’t get enough credit for!0Reply

Mark Crawford • Oct 1Brian Laudrup. Technically brilliant. Superb dribbler, could play off left and right foot. Scored goals and got you off your seat. Ryan Giggs a close second.4Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Oct 2 (edited)@Mark Crawford I watched Brian Laudrup from the Dundee United end many times. He just seemed to glide when he had the ball and defenders couldn’t get near him. He terrorised United many timesI get stick for this but I think he’s the best player I’ve ever seen in Scotland3Reply

Sean Ancheta • Oct 12Zinedine Zidane. I remember watching him for the first time when he was at Real Madrid in the era of the “galacticos.” He made football look like an art. His movements were smooth, purposeful, fluid. He didn’t necessarily do anything flashy but made the simple fundamentals look like a trick per se. He could score and assist. He made me fall in love with football.2Reply
