Trevor Charlie • 29dWe lost. Second heavy league defeat. We just didn’t show up and conceded twice in the first 10 minutes and it didnt get much better after that.I did see moments where our pattern of play using the wide areas came off. It was one of few positives to take although I will take it! A couple of the players played in a dc select game on the thurs which brought out the best in them…..no time to dwell on and off the ball with all players very similar ability.We had contemplated changing formation to 3-2-1As we have had 3 games loosing streak with some of our weaker players shying away from tackles etc or ball watching so wanted an extra player the back.the dc select played the same 3-2-1 which worked wellWith wingbacks pushing forward to join attack, so we tried it s… See more2Reply

Also there was a good passage of play when your no. 7 (I think) took the ball for a dribble before getting fouled.If I were you, I’d pick out all the positives and focus on those rather than the negatives.3Reply
