Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Jun 28In my opinion, it as to be a mix to manage player load. The aim of preseason is to be ready for the first competitive game, and I think that’s where some players get confused. They go 100% from day 1 and are at risk of getting injured. This sets them back and causes frustrations.Training should gradually progress so that by the first competitive game, all players are at peak condition. But that’s where games become important, as there is a difference between being fit and being match fit.A good coach will get the blend right for each player.1Reply
