They haven’t been beaten in transition, so 5 defending and 5 attacking when they have the ball seems has brought them a balanceLook a threat when they are direct and get the ball in the box. I’ve been impressed.PSG need to move the ball quicker and go back to the fast combinations that were causing problems in the first half. Their press has been half-hearted as well.1Reply

Jack Albanese • Aug 14Agreed Kevin, an interesting game! Enrique’s changes and substitutions making the impact at the end there!Question: Why does Dembele drop so deep in the PSG build up? Even when they progress the ball forwards, Dembele takes up deeper position. What is the reasons/ advantages for this. Every game is different, Dembele showed his effectiveness last night when operating in wider spaces when Ramos came on, having ann impact on the 2 of the goals (1 assist).Thanks!2Reply
