Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Aug 16I’m just having a chill one and watching some football on the TV. I might actually do an analysis session during one of the games as well.1Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Aug 16@Jamie Birch I watched a bit of it, then turned it off. I don’t know, football at that level is just boring to me now. Newcastle’s front three looked exciting. I think Aston Villa struggled to cope with their pace and their press. but it was more like a chess match than a football match.0Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • Aug 163rd pre-season 9-a-side game for us today. We started with a 4-2-2 formation as this team put 17 goals past us in two games at 7s last season. It was 0-0 at HT, so we changed shape to 3-3-2. The game finished 4-1 to them, but we hit the post 2 or 3 times. The kids are taking to 9s well, but we just need to be less passive when defending and more clinical with our finishing.2Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Aug 16@Ross Whitehead That’s brilliant, Ross. I’m glad you went and experimented with different shapes. It’s useful for the players to be placed in different situations. Defending is a 3 at the back and a 3 in midfield, and 2 and 2.Positive steps that you managed to score and hit the post a couple of times as well2Reply
