- Blue player drops
- Green player plays the pass in front of Blue
- Blue receives with the back foot (as they are dropping into the space)
- Blue uses the sole of the backfoot to turn 180 degrees while protecting the ball from the passive pressure with their arm and body
- Blue then drives to the goal opposite to finish, with green taking their place.
This is a great session for using the body to protect the ball.Does the above make sense?1Reply

Sorry, having a hard time understanding how they are receiving with their back foot, having turn turn, but also being able to protect the ball from pressure. Blue could receive on their back foot (could be right or left but from this angle right would be better), the turn ideally is happening as they receive the ball, so like you already say their body shape will naturally open up to enable them to receive on that back foot.
