Here’s what we said last week during the community call 👇0:152Reply

Examples:- Is the player twisting their hips to generate power on a cross-field pass?- Is the separation touch after a skill move at the right weight, distance, and angle to protect the ball with the body?- Is the player’s backswing big enough to generate enough power on a shot to beat the goal… See more0:142Reply

The complete development framework for players from age 1 to 18. Never worry about what to teach again.2. How To Coach Technique - Break down the game’s most critical skills and teach them with clarity and precision. Helps you spot common technical errors players make, and how to coach and correct them.0:382Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • Aug 20Amazing thread Kevin.Technical coaching is the core of developing players. It should also be the core of your coaching development.Skill based practice accelerates the learning, but being able to identify technical gaps as the individual level is a must!0Reply

If you spot something during a session, do you take the individual player to one side and help correct them there and then, or should you dedicate time during your sessions to coach technique to the whole group?3Reply

Jamie Birch🔥 • Aug 20@Ross Whitehead If you spot an error in technique with an individual on more than one occassion, i would say pull them aside and walk them through it. If you are doing group technical drills (ball mastery, passing and receiving etc) i would break down the technique before the drill starts.1Reply
