Stephen Kavanagh • Sep 15@Jamie Birch went well although some old problems remain. #1 we take 15 minutes to wake up in games so are often behind by that point. #2 despite talking about distances and running the attack vs defence practice last week we still had massive gaps!!! Clipping up to help them see tomorrow evening.1Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • Sep 12@Kevin Middleton We have 4 girls in our squad too. They are 2014s and can play for us in us (2015s) in the league. They are a big help!3Reply

Justin Shiltz • Sep 13 (edited)Here in the States (Arkansas), our high school season games don’t start until March. We have lots of time to train & get to know our team. One thing I’m encountering as we train more & more is our two Center backs are not very comfortable on the ball (yet!) How can I as a coach protect them, yet still try & play out from the back? Is that even possible? Would love to hear from you all.2Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • Sep 13@Justin Shiltz Get them doing ball mastery to help them be more comfortable with the ball at their feet. And I’d do lots of short passing work - including lots of rondos so they’re used to passing and receiving/controlling the ball under pressure.1Reply

Justin Shiltz • Sep 13 (edited)@Ross Whitehead We have & will continue to do so. Just thinking tactically, is there a plan B for what we are trying to do if our CBs won’t be as good as we would like on the ball?1Reply

Kenneth Thomas • Sep 13My teaam has two games this weekend, away, and also watching the Manchester derby! We had a two week break from matches so got some time working on a lot including transition from attack and transition to defend. Looking to see how the team does this weekend.4Reply
