Kabir Hussein • Oct 24 (edited)Several Issues here, too many of the players in blue not close enough to put pressure on the players in white. Before the last through ball, the last defender has to be following the blue player at the bottom right. He tried to play offside, but he was on and timed his run.3Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Oct 24@Kabir Hussein Brilliant Kabir. Do you think the initial press is setup in a way to guide White to the correct area?1Reply

Kabir Hussein • Oct 24@Kevin Middleton what I try teach my kids is trying to block the passing lane, I think the initial press made it easy for the whites to pass to the right back and play across. The middle blue players were not spread out enough in my opinion.2Reply

Ross Whitehead🔥 • Oct 24The press is all over the place. The initial press is too slow - he gets his angle right (eventually), but he’s not close enough to prevent the lofted pass. The two that then try to press this aren’t doing it quick enough which allows them to be played through. The defender tries to play offside, but gets it wrong, he should probably be following the runner instead.4Reply

Mario Demmelbauer • Oct 24Great for an analyst 😄 The left striker is the root of the problem. Good starting positions across the whole team, then he moves too far into the center for a 4v2 (I don’t think that was the plan – the other central players are half-half on the jump). This means he can no longer build up pressure after the shift and doesn’t sprint through either. CD would have to attack completely, with the 6 away from the ball closing the center more quickly. The second CD plays for offside instead of running … See more3Reply

Kevin Middleton⭐🔥 • Oct 24@Mario Demmelbauer Sorry for the bad graphics, but I would lose the plot if this happened in a game2Reply

Stephen Kavanagh • Oct 24Agree with @Mario Demmelbauer the left striker is the cause of what follows - if he presses as I imagine he is supposed to, that initial pass out isn’t on and the possession team are playing into an area with good cover/coverage. Other things then go wrong, but that’s the trigger for the dominos to fall.2Reply
