Technique owned FCA funnel handoff
Product: Football Coaching Academy
Priority: P1
Status: In Review
Authorised by: Kevin’s 2026-08-26 instruction to make the external website a funnel to the actual Skool Academy.
Problem
This search landing page bypasses the owned FCA trust and explanation layer by sending its main actions directly to Skool. That makes the portfolio journey inconsistent and can imply course access before the visitor has seen the current Academy offer and boundaries.
Expected Experience
A visitor receives useful topic guidance on this page, then follows a clearly labelled, attributed internal action to the canonical owned FCA landing page. The FCA page explains the Academy and provides the transparent final handoff to Skool.
Scope
- Replace direct Skool actions on this page with tracked
/football-coaching-academy/actions. - Preserve the existing indexed route, topic content and page design.
- Do not change pricing, plans, billing, access, email or publication state.
Honesty artifact
Assumption: the owned FCA page in PR #36 becomes the canonical trust layer before these pages ship. Known gap: if PR #36 is not merged, these links still resolve to the current owned FCA page but do not receive its improved handoff treatment.
Verification
- No direct Skool link remains in the page source.
- Both funnel actions retain source, medium, campaign and placement attribution.
- Repository commit gate passes.
- No automatic merge.
