Choose your role
Practise for a short, focused block. Use both feet. Mark it only when you can perform it with control.
Help create a safe space, ask what the player is working on and praise effort, patience and improvement.
Choose a level that fits the player, explain how it connects to the game and review it at the next session.
Keep it safe: use a suitable surface and enough clear space. Stop if there is pain or discomfort. Physical preparation, injury rehabilitation and medical advice require an appropriately qualified professional.
Progression map
Tick a skill when it can be performed under control with both feet. The aim is not to race through the sheet.
Keep Up Challenge
Record the date each target is achieved. A bounce or reset is fine while learning; define the successful version with your coach before starting.
